Introducing Nissha’s HiddenGraphic™

HiddenGraphic™ is one of our three “mutech décor” technologies; HiddenDisplay™, HiddenIcon™ and HiddenGraphic™. These solutions incorporate functionality into decorative molded products, creating a seamless and comfortable space. While HiddenDisplay™ and HiddenIcon™ focus on blending LCD displays and icons into surface design, HiddenGraphic™ is specialized to hide various lit up patterns and graphics on the part which gives the user the outstanding impression of surprise when the interface turns on.

While the user interface is not active, it lies quietly as fabric, wood grain or brushed hair line finish which blend in with the living space.

Nissha IMD and IML enables the combination between infinite possibilities of artwork design and unique light transmission effects, creating a one-of-a-kind outstanding product exceeding expectations.

With our technology, the surface design is produced by gravure printing. This process is capable of high-definition layering, which makes it possible to control the quality of surface graphics while keeping the crisp transmittance  which is essential for HiddenGraphic™.

Not only the printing process, but also our molding process is the key to the HiddenGraphic™. IMD and IML allow the transferring of the graphic onto the 3D shape with high-precision positioning.

Why IMD?

IMD is a simple and productive process. Versatile CMF designs are done inside of the tooling without any pre / secondary process, and the whole process is managed by a roll-to-roll system. Decoration is completed, including hard coat protection, with just single shot molding.
