CMF Design 2026

The latest series of Nissha’s advanced color, material, finish design trends is now available.

Created by Nissha’s Global Design&CMF Team, the CMF Design 2026 edition is a source of design inspiration, especially incorporating concepts and developments in lighting and hidden display under our mutech décor. “mutech” is a general term for controlling information overload (noise) caused by technology interfaces and offers an alternative experience by creating a comfortable space with technology. The term “décor” refers to Nissha’s decorative film and molded products that create a pleasant space, and “mutech décor” is a product series from Nissha that combines decoration and functionality, seeking comfortable experiential value.

Within Nissha’s CMF Design 2026 edition, the main theme is “Convergence.”

Convergence

We now live in an age of unprecedented instability. Wars continue all around the world, divisions are deepening, and economic instability has grown enormously. However, it is precisely these chaotic times that call for new connections. Perhaps the question now is how each of us can approach our own individuality and foster empathy with others. Mutual understanding between people with different values – achieved through empathy and dialogue while maintaining mental stability by accepting ourselves as we are and facing both the past and our emotions – can ease societal fracturing. Technology is certainly a powerful tool for connecting people for that purpose, but occasionally taking time to intentionally disconnect is also crucial. Having space to take a step back from the digital deluge and think about harmony with nature or coexistence with the natural environment creates a richer array of choices.

Individual and society, customer and company, technology and nature, global and local – harmoniously balancing these aspects will create a prosperous and sustainable future society.
